In this workshop with John you will learn to make what has become one of the Jewellery industries most enduring Ring trends of late, generally narrow bands of varying appearance 'stacked' into groups of 3,4 or 5 they can be highly polished, textured or a combination of both. All tools and equipment will be yours to use with Johns guidance to bring your ideas to life.
In Johns fully equipped studio you will learn the techniques required to measure, roll, cut, solder, file, emery and polish your own individual design idea (John can help with design, if you are stuck) into a beautiful Ring set you will be proud to wear home at the end of the day.
This is an experience that is not often offered and will give you a small insight into how Jewellery is constructed, you will learn new skills, surprise yourself with your results and have a blast doing so. Our workshops have been greatly received and enjoyed by numerous people already this year with some attendees returning for up to 4 individual classes in our first release of workshops, testament to the great value and enjoyment they have had.
No previous experience is necessary on your part, you will be guided by a craftsman operating in the Jewellery industry for 37 years, running his own business for 26 of those years and delivering custom made Jewellery to countless families, couples and individuals.
Workshop inclusions:
This workshop is scheduled on the following dates.
Thursday 25th November 10.00am to 5.00pm
Classes are kept small to ensure you have a memorable experience and the aim is for you to leave at the end of the day with a piece of Jewellery you are both delighted with and proud of.
Minimum class number of 3 is a pre-requisite for running of the class.
Cost $400.00
$100.00 deposit required at time of booking
Balance 1 x week prior to class.
