​Welcome to John McAleer Handcrafted Jewellery, a custom Jewellery designer
based on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. 

Partnered with his wife Carolyn, they are proud to be part of a very exciting local 
business highlighting the artistic diversity of the region.
 
You will find them operating from the 
Artisans of Australia Gallery space in Curlewis. 

John's story started some 40 years ago and has grown into a passion to help create and
be a part of your special moments, custom making a piece of Jewellery for you
is what he loves to do.

Winner of the 'Jewellery Apprentice of the Year' in his final year of study, John has gone
on ​to make countless amazing pieces for many families, including making the
'MasterChef Immunity Pins' for the long running Australian hit television show,
he now brings his expertise to the people of the Bellarine Peninsula.

​ John will work closely with you to design and create your special piece, to realise your vision,
together you will create your dream piece.

He can use existing Jewellery, either yours personally or something passed down through
your family, using it to create a brand new piece. Recycling existing materials gives you
the ability to have a further emotional connection to your commissioned
​piece from the start.
